Miss Tibet Pageant 2018 in New York City

Happy New Year! I am happy to announce that Miss Tibet Pageant 2018 will be held in New York City. We have partnered with Engage Entertainment, who will be producing and directing the Pageant, in June in December 2018.

Engage Entertainment is a well-established entertainment and media company for the last 13 years in India, and has now expanded to New York in partnership with Sonam Wangdue and Lalit Bhatnagar.

The application is online. The last date to apply is 31 March 30 April 2018. The Criteria to apply for the Miss Tibet Pageant are on the application form.

We are looking forward to a spectacular show as we move from the small Himalayan village in McLeod Ganj to one of the world’s most cosmopolitan cities.

Wishing you all a wonderful New Year.

Lobsang Wangyal

Note: The Miss Tibet event date was changed, and application was extended to 30 April, on 7 April 2018.

I hope the Miss Tibet Pageant will be held in either Nepal or India in future, as many Tibetans here don’t get visa even if they want to apply. Consider the location in coming years other than western countries 👍🏻

Gadan Podong officer, Tibetan Parliament, Tibetan Government, Tibetan Envoy and Tibetan Community never take responsibility. ཁ་བཏགས་རྫུན་མ་བེད་སྤྱོད་ཁྱོན་ནས་མ་གཏོང་རོགས།

Please do not use the fake kadag, it’s garbages; the dyes used in these products can cause disease. This garbage is one of the tools use to brainwash people. Attacking traditional Tibetan culture is part of a plan to forcibly assimilate Tibetans. It’s Cultural invasion, corrosion, and Colonial symbol.

Happy new year! May you all be happy, healthy, and prosperous in 2018.
