DHARAMSHALA, India, 5 June 2010 — The first round of the Kingfisher Miss Tibet Pageant 2010 started with the swimsuit round at Funky Town pool in Dharamshala on 4 June.

Two judges evaluated the contestants, giving points on figure, skin, poise and posture.

The judges are Mr Prem Sagar, a post-graduate in English literature from Himachal Pradesh University. He also has a degree in environmental sciences, and has lectured at different colleges in Himchal Pradesh. He has two decades of experience in the tourism industry, and has been an active member in various local organizations.

The second judge is Lisa Dhamija, who is a music teacher, owner (with husband) of Divya Himachal newspaper, and co-editor of Himachal This Week. She has lived in India for 14 years.

Hundreds of spectators witnessed the round.

The second and third rounds — Talk and Talent — will be held at TIPA on Saturday at 7 pm.
