Jamyang Chentso

Jamyang Chentso (Lutu Tsang) was born in Bir Tibetan settlement in Himchal Pradesh, India in 1986. She has studied up to class 10 and works as a receptionist in a country club in Delhi. She can speak Tibetan, English and Hindi. She likes playing basketball, swimming and dancing.

Chentso would like to serve humanity and make the world a better place to live for all. As a Tibetan, she would like to work towards preserving the Tibetan culture and language, and contribute as much as possible in the struggle for a Free Tibet. She would like to work to repay her parents and to show her gratitude to her sponsors.

Being a Miss Tibet gives a new platform to exchange ideas, information and other critical issues about what is happening around the world. Miss Tibet symbolises Tibet as a nation, which will help others learn about the country.
