Sonam Dickey

Sonam Dickey was born in Lhasa, the capital of Tibet. She did her schooling from Jaybhumkhang school in Lhasa. She came to India in exile and continued studying but dropped school after class X to learn about computers. So she joined a computer course at Gu-Chu-Sum Computer Centre in Dharamsala.

She worked for Gu-Chu-Sum for a year. But currently she lives in Nepal with her family, helping her parents manage their business.

Sonam likes watching fashion TV and music channels. She wants to be a great Tibetan woman and want to help the Tibetan community in any way she can.

She thinks Miss Tibet pageant will help create awareness about the difficult situation of Tibet.
