Penpa Lhamo

Penpa Lhamo was born in Bylakuppe and did her schooling from CST Bylakuppe. She did Bachelor of Arts with Honours in English Literature and Master of Communication and Journalism at Madras Christian College.

She was a school topper and got second position in her Master's degree with 71 percent. Currently she is working as a reporter in a local English daily in Bangalore.

Penpa likes swimming and reading. She believes in healthy competition. She wants to strive for a Free Tibet to the best of her ability. She wants to become a well established journalist.

She thinks that Miss Tibet has a great potential in creating awareness among people. She can be the brand ambassador for Tibet in order to generate goodwill and mutual trust from various people.

Miss Tibet pageant serves as a platform to prove that Tibetan girls are as smart as any other girls around the world.
